Learning about perimeter.
Today our class went out onto the courts to learn about perimeters. We learned how to work out the perimeter of a rectangle and a square. We also learned how to use stage 4, 5 and 6 strategies. The best part was when me and my partner drew our square and our rectangle.
My Family of Dinosaurs.
My family of dinosaurs
My sister, finkasaurus,
My brother, slobasaurus,
doesn’t quite know how to chew.
My mother, rushasaurus,
finds it hard to be on time.
My father, cheapasaurus,
never spends an extra dime.
Our doggy, barkasaurus,
keeps the neighbors up at night.
Our kitty, scratchasaurus,
And then there’s angelsaurus--
who, you might have guessed, is me--
the only one who’s perfect in this crazy family.

Turning Solids to Liquid to Solid experiment.
How to turn something from Solid to Liquid to Solid.
With our experiment we were learning to turn something from Solid to Liquid to Solid.
Materials:
- Raro
- Jug
- Ice Block Sticks
- Water
- Cups
- Wooden Spoon
Method
Step 1 Open the raro packet.
Step 2 Pour the raro into the jug.
Step 3 Add the water to the jug.
Step 4 Use the wooden spoon and mix it all together until it dissolves.
Step 5 Pour the liquid into the cups.
Step 6 Add the ice block sticks into your cups.
Step 7 Put the cups into the freezer.
Step 8 Wait until it has turned into a solid and then you can eat your ice blocks or block!!
Conclusion
When you put the liquid into the freezer, the cold temperature turns it into a solid which is how we made solid to liquid back to solid.
