Chelsea had some chocolate milk
but spilled it on her shirt.
Jackson got his jacket ripped
while rolling in the dirt.
Emily and Isabella
must have had a fight.
Alexander looks as if
he stayed awake all night.
Abigail is absent,
as are Ryan, Ross, and Ruth.
Max is in pajamas,
and Mackenzie lost a tooth.
Brandon broke his glasses.
Sarah’s sweater doesn’t fit.
Jacob has a bloody nose,
and Zoe has a zit.
We should all be crabby,
but we’re smiling anyway.
Our moms and dads are gonna scream—
today is picture day!
10 Fast fingers.
Today Room 5 did some Self-managing time I played 10 fast fingers I got 41 words right YAY!!! But I still need to practise.

An afternoon with Uncle James
On Tuesday afternoon Uncle James came in to Room 5. He is a friend of Mrs Manuyag. In his spare time he likes to design some cartoons. He is a great artist. He taught us some little details like doing our eyes, noses, eyelashes and eyebrows. He was fun to work with because every time I said "I can't do it" he would give me some courage, and in the end I will end up doing it. Thanks Uncle James. He is AMAZING!!
