My Explination About How Electricity Travels.

Question?

Have you ever wondered how electricity travels? Today we need electricity to survive. Electricity helps us live. Without electricity we would not be able to do many things like cook on the oven, search the Internet or watch television for the news.

As strange as it may seem the electricity starts at a power station. Inside a power station is a generator that is an energy source that is powered from wind, water or coal. From there it travels to the power lines on tall towers that carry the electricity to a substation where transformers reduce the voltage.

The distribution lines flow the electricity to buildings and homes, which creates electricity in your home right now. This is how we power our lights, microwaves, washing machines and our televisions. Distribution lines can be located overhead or underground.

This is my explination about how electricity travels.
