THE NEW GIRL IN SCHOOL!

Thursday 8 March

WALT - write a narrative story based on our Artwork.

One summery day in Samoa there lived two gorgeous women. One was 12 and one was 14. Their names were Malia and Mele and they went to Intermediate school. They loved hanging out with each other. They practiced dancing with each other and if Malia went to get something out of her bag then Mele did as well.

A new girl came to school. Her name was Khorus. She had short curly hair and dark green eyes. She had beautiful eyelashes and a lovely style. Everyone wanted to be her friend but she only wanted two friends.  The next day,  Mele went out to play with Malia but Malia was already playing with Khorus, they had become new friends

Malia said, "Hey what’s wrong?’’ Mele said,’’ I feel like you're leaving me out because when I come to play with you you always seem to be playing with Khorus”. "Oh Im sorry for leaving you out. It’s just that she’s a new girl and i wanted her to feel comfortable at this school and I wanted to protect her from all the bully’s. I'm so sorry.",’’ Well that’s ok, I knew you were still my friend anyway". Khorus said , "Hey why don’t you come and play with us, we were just about to go to the park. Would you like to join us?’’

"Sure why not’,’ So they all came together and they became the best of friends and no one could break them apart.

You had a really nice message in your narrative Danisha. I'm so happy to see you are still working hard. Well done!

I agree with Miss Kyla, you have a great message in your story. I also like the way you have used speech marks to indicate good conversation in your story.
Now you need to work on developing your story more with more interesting, descriptive detail. Kapai Danisha!
